As we scale across regions and platforms, we are seeking a visionary Chief Financial Officer who will drive fiscal strategy, financial discipline, and investor confidence across our product suite.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead all financial planning and analysis (FP&A), budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management across the company’s product suites.
  2. Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.
  3. Develop and maintain investor reporting packages and manage investor relations.
  4. Build scalable financial models for strategic decision-making, fundraising, and expansion.
  5. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements (CBN, FIRS, NDPR).
  6. Supervise and grow the finance team, including accountants and risk staff.
  7. Partner with the CEO and COO to guide business strategy, pricing, cost management, and operational efficiency.
  8. Work with external auditors, legal teams, and regulatory bodies to ensure all financial operations meet national and international standards.
  9. Drive fundraising initiatives from debt and equity rounds to grant and impact investment strategies.

Background & Qualifications

  1. Minimum of 3+ years of experience in financial leadership, preferably within fintech, ecommerce, financial services, or fast-scaling startups.
  2. A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced finance degree is a strong plus.
  3. Professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CFA are added advantage.
  4. Proven experience managing budgets, financial teams, and investor relations.
  5. Strong knowledge of Nigerian regulatory frameworks (CBN, NDIC, SEC) and compliance.
  6. Exceptional analytical, modelling, and strategic planning skills.
  7. Experience with international financial operations or cross-border transactions is a plus.
  8. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead and influence at board level.
