We are now seeking a visionary Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead our marketing strategy across all verticals, amplify our brand narrative, and drive user and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Define and lead the end-to-end marketing strategy for AgoPay, AgoGo, AgoDrop, and Arkquire.
  2. Own brand architecture, visual identity, messaging, and positioning across all channels.
  3. Plan and execute growth campaigns (organic + paid) including SEO/SEM, social, influencer, content, and performance marketing.
  4. Oversee the launch and go-to-market (GTM) strategy for new products and features.
  5. Lead customer segmentation, lifecycle marketing, retention campaigns, and feedback loops.
  6. Measure, optimize, and report on key KPIs (CAC, ROAS, LTV, activation rates, etc.) for each business unit.
  7. Manage a marketing budget with efficiency and strategic clarity.
  8. Mentor and scale a lean marketing team, including performance marketers and content producers.
  9. Work closely with product and operations teams to align marketing efforts with user needs and feedback.

What We're Looking For

  1. Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in marketing roles, ideally in fintech, ecommerce, or SaaS startups.
  2. Proven track record in executing multi-channel marketing campaigns with measurable outcomes.
  3. Strong command of digital marketing platforms (Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, Mailchimp, HubSpot, etc.).
  4. Deep understanding of branding, storytelling, and user psychology.
  5. Experience launching and growing digital products in the African or emerging markets context.
  6. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced certifications (e.g. CIM, Digital Marketing Institute) are a plus.
  7. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
